It&#8217;s the perfect excuse to find a new favourite foodie joint, or visit somewhere you already love for a fraction of the price. </p>

<p>Based in the heart of the business district, this restaurant and bar is a real city centre OG indie and 100% worth the hype. There&#8217;s some delicious sounding mains on offer including Thai crab risotto or a classic chicken kiev served with dauphinois. <p>Like Lebanese food? Then you&#8217;re going to want to check out this eatery &#8211; it&#8217;s one of Muddy&#8217;s favourite places for Lebanese food in the city, and Birmingham Restaurant Festival founder Alex agrees too. It&#8217;s all about authentic Middle Eastern dining and you can get two courses for £14.95 or three for £16.95 on the set menu. There&#8217;s the usual suspects like hummus, falafel or moussaka, but we recommend using this chance to try something a bit different like the Shakreyeh &#8211; melt-in-the-mouth cubes of lamb in a delicious yoghurt sauce. <p>This cocktail bar and restaurant is a favourite at the Mailbox and is a great choice for lunch and dinner if you love Pan-Asian food. Pull up a chair at one of the outdoor waterside tables and order the three-course menu &#8211; an absolute steal at £19.99. <p>This proudly indie neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of Edgbaston was just listed in the Good Food Guide’s Top 100 local restaurants, so you know you&#8217;re on to something good. It&#8217;s festival menu offers three courses for £31 and includes everything from Southwest mussels to grass-fed beef from Muddy favourite Aubrey Allen. It&#8217;s headed up by Glynn Purnell, and the festival&#8217;s tasting menu is £60 for seven courses including scallops, Brixham cod and Wiltshire lamb.
