<p>Fans of the award-winning sourdough at Stratford favourite Mor Bakery are already making a beeline for Mor Kitchen, the foodie group’s new eatery which opened in December 2025. Tucked into a roomy spot on Henley Street, the menu is packed with brunch crowd-pleasers — think piled-high eggs and avo, crispy sweet potato rostis and gloriously indulgent French toast, plus a nutritious kids’ menu for smaller appetites. Whatever you do, save room for one of Mor’s legendary pain au chocolats…</p>

<p>Why is Trof so beloved? Simple: it absolutely nails the classics — and then goes a step further. Tucked away on Russell Street, this cosy café has built a big reputation for serving one of the best Full English breakfasts in Leam. But if you’re feeling adventurous, the menu happily strays beyond the usual fry-up territory: think spiced houmous with Merguez sausage, or whipped feta on sourdough topped with streaky bacon. Trof is walk-ins only, but don’t be fooled by the snug little frontage — there’s extra seating upstairs if the downstairs buzz gets a bit lively.</p>

<p>Inspired by sunny Aussie café culture, Brondi is all about colourful açai bowls, fresh ingredients and smooth matcha (though if you ask us, the peach and raspberry French toast is where it’s at). You’ll find this light and bright café in the heart of Dorridge &#8211; next to a new neighbour in reformer pilates studio Re-Coop, in case you want to work up an appetite beforehand.</p>

<p>Set high in the rolling countryside just outside Hunningham, Hilltop Farm is a firm Muddy favourite for good reason. Grab a table overlooking those glorious hilltop views and tuck into proper farmhouse breakfasts made with produce from the farm shop — think the mighty&nbsp;Supersize Farmhouse Breakfast&nbsp;piled with sausages, bacon, free-range eggs and black pudding, or lighter options like smashed avocado and eggs, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, or Belgian waffles dripping in maple syrup.&nbsp;It’s brilliantly family-friendly too: kids can burn off energy in the outdoor play area, dogs are welcome, and there’s always the chance to say hello to the resident farm animals while you’re there.</p>

<p>We love this sweet little café on Harborne High Street — a bright, art-filled space with relaxed, welcoming vibes. Friendly owner Paul has built a loyal following for his brilliant brunch menu, and it’s easy to see why: there’s something for everyone, with plenty of great vegan and vegetarian options alongside the classics. And the homemade baked beans? Honestly, worth the trip alone.</p>

<p>If you’re after brunch with a bit of a foodie edge, Warwick Street Kitchen is your place. The menu changes with the seasons and often comes with a little Middle Eastern twist, keeping things interesting well beyond your standard eggs-on-toast. Personal highlights? The gloriously chunky, doorstopper hash browns are non-negotiable, but the bacon milk bun, shakshuka and buttery croissants all deserve a mention too. If you’re hooked, you’ll be pleased to know WSK has other outposts in Warwick, Stirchley and the Jewellery Quarter.</p>

The menu is brilliantly crowd-pleasing — from juicy chicken and waffles to silky Turkish eggs — and the famous ‘Pink Toast’ is practically a rite of passage. It’s also an alcohol-free spot, which means the mocktails and smoothies are given proper star treatment. Expect colourful, flavour-packed drinks that are every bit as fun as the food.</p>

<p>Fancy shaking up your usual brunch order? Gather your foodie friends and head to warm, welcoming Venezuelan café Panela. The star of the menu is the arepa — delicious fluffy corn cakes split and stuffed with your choice of eggs, Latin cheese or richly seasoned shredded meats. It’s a brilliant change from the usual eggs-on-toast routine — and once you’ve tried one, you’ll absolutely be back for more.</p>

<p>For big group brunches, The Steamhouse’s roomiest outpost in Leamington Spa is a solid shout when you need a long table (though do book ahead — it’s popular for a reason). I could wax lyrical about Steamhouse bagels for several paragraphs — The Big Win is my personal go-to, every time — but the menu happily covers all bases with fluffy pancake stacks and loaded French toast too. The only real non-negotiable? A side of hash brown tots. Order them. Trust me.</p>

<p>Even out-of-towners make the trip to Caneat for its gloriously quirky brunch flavours. You haven’t lived until you’ve tried the kimchi-loaded hash browns (trust me), though the seven-minute eggs and focaccia toast are equally hard to resist… I could go on. This buzzy café in ever-thriving Stirchley also hosts plenty of fun events, so keep an eye out for the next boozy brunch — they tend to fill up fast.</p>

<p>If freshly squeezed juices and nutrition-forward eats are your thing, Café Desa is Leamington’s wellbeing-focused brunch spot serving up feel-good food that still delivers on flavour. Standouts include the golden mango chia bowl and the ‘Green Goddess’ omelette — vibrant, nourishing and properly satisfying. The menu is the brainchild of café owner and nutrition coach Cynthia Tamraz, who weaves in flavours from her Indonesian heritage too (hello, spicy sambal). Healthy brunch that actually tastes exciting? We’re in.</p>
