<p>Birmingham&#8217;s built up a reputation as one of the most exciting diverse and vibrant foodie destinations in the UK. From <strong>1-31 Aug</strong> 50 eateries across the city are taking part in the fourth <a href="https://birminghamrestaurantfestival.co.uk/">Birmingham Restaurant Festival</a>, including the newly announced Michelin starred Adam’s and Simpsons. </p>



<p>Top chefs will be creating a fantastic set menu for a fraction of their usual cost &#8211; and diners can now book. Make as many lunch or dinner reservations as you like. <p>Chef Adam&nbsp;Stokes has held a Michelin star for 12 years. This contemporary British fine dining restaurant serves modern, seasonal dishes with a world class wine list. The Tasting Menu for <strong>£70</strong>&nbsp;is an absolute steal and includes snacks, Cornish mackerel, pork cheek or Creedy carver chicken for main and cherry with 100% chocolate, kirsch and tarragon.</p>

Holding its Michelin Star since 1999, Simpsons continues to lead the way in fine dining across the region under chef director Luke Tipping.&nbsp;Enjoy an impressive three courses for<strong>&nbsp;£70</strong> including dishes such as Ballotine of smoked ham hock and chicken for starters, sirloin pave, Cornish cod or BBQ Cabbage for mains and white chocolate crémeux or pineapple ravioli for desserts. </p>

<p>Head to Harborne for a contemporary, welcoming and playful dining experience. Here you can enjoy a five course Tasting Menu for&nbsp;<strong>£50</strong> with dishes ranging from heritage tomatoes and ricotta tart starter to a glazed beef cheek with charred Hispi cabbage and Sorrell main course and for dessert, vanilla crème brulee with burnt apple.</p>

<p>The Wilderness’s rock and roll approach to fine dining has attracted the eyes and awards of Michelin, AA, Harden’s, SquareMeal and The Good Food Guide. Alex Claridge&#8217;s provocative, playful tasting menus in a restored factory is set to the soundtrack of rock, punk and heavy metal. Tuck into a bargain five courses for<strong>&nbsp;£55</strong>, including Greens (Beetroot Ajo Blanco Green Chilli Shiso), Fish (Grilled Mackerel Nam Jim Aromatic Herb Salad), Meat (Iberian Pork Remiro Pepper) and Dessert (Miso Tart Fermented Strawberry Yoghurt).</p>

<p>This swish independent neighbourhood restaurant in Edgbaston is the perfect place to head to on a sunny day, with sun-soaked terrace and back patio for whiling away a few hours. It is&nbsp;a Good Food Guide ‘Best 100 Local Restaurants 2024’. Food is the best of British like smoked mackerel pate to start, sweet pea risotto or 5oz grass-fed rump steak for main or mini Frangipane tart for dessert. <p>Kray Treadwell&#8217;s restaurant celebrates the culture and diversity of Birmingham.
