Great British counties map art
These cool typographical maps are pride of place in the Muddy office. We reckon they'd look rocking in your sitting room too.
Look what’s adorning the walls of the Muddy office. Aren’t they brilliant?
These are the very stylish Warwickshire typographical maps from clever fledging design company, Faded Grandeur. We’re loving picking out the names of the all towns, villages and hamlets we whizz around each week, curating all the cool stuff from our counties to bring direct to your inbox. (Maybe the next editions could find a little space for Muddy HQ to get a namecheck? I mean, we’re basically a local landmark, right?!)
The couple behind Faded Grandeur, one of whom you’ll be totally unshocked to hear is a graphic designer, set up shop following a move from London to the Cotswolds in 2017. All their designs are handmade in the UK and they currently offer 50 maps of counties, towns and cities across the land (with more to follow), in a choice of sizes and frames, costing from £90.
They’ll also happily undertake bespoke design details – so, say, if you married in Cornwall, they’ll do that county with a little badge on it commemorating your wedding. Cool, eh? Keep ’em bookmarked for next time you need a quirky gift.
