If you spend a copious amount of time stroking fabric samples and scrolling renovation accounts on Insta, then&nbsp;<a href="https://www.dcch.co.uk/wowhouse/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">WOW!house</a>&nbsp;at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour could well be your spiritual home. Back for its fourth iteration of seriously swoon-worthy interiors and unapologetic design indulgence, this immersive showhouse is where the world’s top space-makers let their imaginations (and budgets) run wild.



Open for just one gloriously design-drenched month (3 June – 3 July), including weekends,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.dcch.co.uk/wowhouse" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">WOW!house</a>&nbsp;offers 22 boundary-pushing rooms to explore, over 130 showrooms to dip into, and more than 600 seriously chic brands to discover. Add in twice-daily guided tours, a stacked schedule of expert-led talks, and 600sqm of dreamy indoor/outdoor inspo – and you’ll wonder why you haven’t planned your entire summer around it.



Still not sold? Here are seven highly persuasive reasons to get yourself down there. Be warned, however. You might go in for inspiration and come out planning a full-blown renovation.

There’s a&nbsp;lot&nbsp;to do at WOW!house, so clear your diary, wear your comfiest trainers and prepare to make a full day of it. Doors open bright and early at 8am for coffee in the Dome Café, and from there it’s a steady stream of design delights. Want to feel scholarly? Sit in on one of the expert-led talks covering everything from the secrets to designing sociable spaces to curating interiors with soul. When you’re not swooning over show-stopping rooms, you can wander the wider Design Centre, home to 130+ showrooms offering insider access, inspiration galore, and – crucially – some tempting event-only discounts.

Who wouldn’t want the opportunity to steal a few secrets from minimalist mastermind Kelly Hoppen? One of this year’s main designer draws, Hoppen has not only created a masterclass in lighting via the design of her “tactile, moody and unexpected” living room but is also set to host a discussion on the design details that really matter.&nbsp;



Alongside Hoppen, you’ll find a stellar line-up of design heavyweights – from bold colour devotee Henry Prideaux to the ever-stylish Linda Boronkay – all part of a 22-strong creative cast that’s basically the Met Gala of moodboard-worthy talent.

We’re loving the look of The Curator’s Room – a total treasure trove of a space pulled together by design maven Brigitta Spinocchia Freund with Tracey Emin to be rumoured to be collaborating with selected art works. Also, make sure you dip into the Courtyard Room where dirty paws and high style collide (aka The Muddy Room – we’re naming it!). Emma Sims-Hilditch has turned the often neglected back-of-house zone into a total showstopper with a boot room and dedicated dog-washing/shower area that’s packed with personality.



You can go around the spaces many times as you like – it usually takes around two hours to amble the entire house. Our tip? Go around once, then re-wander the rooms again from the other direction, just in case you missed anything.



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-the-food-s-amazing">The food’s amazing</h3>

WOW!house isn’t just a feast for the eyes, you can also get stuck in at one of the Design Centre’s three main restaurants and cafés. Try the seasonal, locally-sourced Flora &amp; Ember, a pop-up private dining space taking over a “secret courtyard” for the duration of WOW!house, or the Design Restaurant by Bertioli X Thyme (Muddy ate here two weeks ago and can totally recommend) to the more informal Dome café where you can grab a Strawberry and Rhubarb Kombucha and a Sticky Tofu Salad.&nbsp;

For an event that looks and feels this high-gloss, WOW!house is surprisingly unspenny. With individual&nbsp;<a href="https://www.dcch.co.uk/wowhouse/tickets/">tickets</a>&nbsp;at £25 (or £10 for students), or a bargainous weekday 2 for £40 or Saturday 2 for £35, it’s a luxe experience without the splurge. Your ticket includes a complimentary guided tour, where you’ll get behind-the-scenes insight into how some of the industry’s biggest names turned their design fantasies into full-scale reality. The talks with the top-tier tastemakers are just £5 a ticket – less than a fancy coffee and way more enlightening.



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-it-s-inclusive-and-welcoming">It’s inclusive and welcoming</h3>



WOW!house isn’t just a showcase of great design, it’s also a celebration of inclusivity. The event champions diversity within the interiors industry and is once again supporting United in Design that advocates for an equal opportunity pathway for entry into the interior design industry. The space itself is fully wheelchair accessible, with step-free routes, lifts to every level, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Dogs (except assistance dogs) and under-12s will need to sit this one out (no hard feelings, small ones) – we promise it’s not you, just the breakables. On the flip side it does mean the vibe stays serene, stylish, and blissfully grown-up. And who doesn’t want a few kid and bark-free hours to swoon over sofas? &nbsp;
