The Grade II-listed Georgian manor house was founded some 600 years ago, with the gorgeous hall dating back to the 17^th century. It’s just undergone a huge revamp and has now reopened its 62 timeless bedrooms and suites, perfect to wind down after exploring pretty Warwickshire and historic Coventry.

Tuck into elevated British classics with signature twists and a thread of Indian influence at the new Woven restaurant. If it’s coffee, a cocktail or High Chai tea you’re after head to the bar and lounge, or on a warm day grab a seat on the terrace – with pretty views across the manicured lawns and rolling countryside.

If you’re getting hitched then you’ll be hard pushed to find a much-more idyllic location.
