Belgrade Theatre, Coventry

A buzzy theatre in central Coventry, with stylish café and bar. Thanks to its range of excellent shows, there’s something to suit everyone.

Bang in the centre of Coventry, the Belgrade Theatre is a buzzy, well-organised hub of music, culture, performance and more. There’s always a wide range of shows on offer, so its schedule is well worth a peruse — from children’s puppetry and pantomime to cutting edge scripts and big-name tours. And more besides!

We love the theatre (dahhling!) at Muddy, and are frequent culture vultures, so you can rest assured that when we say the Belgrade Theatre is a comfy, smoothly-run venue with a good array of refreshments, we know what we’re talking about. The Belgrade Café is recently refreshed and now rather swanky, and ditto for the Nineteen 58 bar up on the first floor — essential to know beforehand, of course, for what is a night at the theatre without a cheeky glass of something to celebrate? (And an ice cream at the interval, natch. Don’t worry, you can get that too.)

So for your next date night, girls’ night, force-some-culture-on-the-kids night… you know where to go.
