The Makers Space, Alcester
Crafty types, listen up! I’ve found an awesome new space especially for creatives (and coffee and cake seekers), nestled in the Warwickshire countryside. Want to know more? Of course you do…

Been looking for somewhere where you can let your creative juices flow, while enjoying a caffeine kick and a hearty slice of homemade cake? Call off the search, I’ve found just the place.
The Makers Space opened at Alcester’s Longbarn Village earlier this summer, so all your crafty needs are in one place. Sewing shop, photographer, videographer, wedding stylist, marketing and PR consultant, a florist and even felt banners – they’re all here.
And it’s not just popping in to the shops or for an appointment – there’s workshops aplenty and a killer coffee shop to boot. Expect homemade cakes, cookies and an expertly brewed coffee. Oh and the best bit? It’s super dog friendly too.
There’s workshops especially for kids so they can make their own things like pencil cases, shorts or take part in one of the regular arts and craft workshops. And adults don’t miss out either – fancy learning embroidery, glass fusing or jewellery making? It’s all here, along with heaps more (keep ahead of the curve by checking the website to bag your space on the latest sessions).
