The Sheep on Sheep Street lies in the heart of the picturesque Cotswolds market town of Stow-on-the-Wold. Following a meticulous refurbishment by new owners, Brakspear, this boutique Inn with 22 rooms re-opened in July 2016. Featuring light, bright, contemporary spaces including an open-plan restaurant, a full-length bar top that flows into counter dining space facing the wood-fired oven.
The Sheep’s modern, seasonal menu, by executive head chef, Antony Ely, is based around the wood-fired oven and includes delicious, southern Italian-style pizzas. Families are very welcome here and rooms include double, twin and family bedrooms. All come with luxurious en-suite bathrooms, a muted palette of grey and blue tones and crisp white linen creating a chic, country townhouse feel throughout. Doubles from £90 a night on a B&B basis.
Historic Stow-on-the-Wold features a vast market square lined with medieval and Georgian buildings housing quality independent shops, galleries, boutiques, vintners and local artisan food and drink producers.
