Whittle’s Restaurant and Bistro, Leamington Spa

Muddy says: Whittle’s, set within the beautiful Grade II Listed Victorian Binswood Hall, has the perfect blend of period charm and contemporary culinary delight. Enjoy decadent afternoon teas, cocktails and all-day dining or dinner.

Set within the magnificent Grade II Listed Victorian Binswood Hall, Whittle’s restaurant and bistro, is full of history and centrally located just two minutes from Leamington Spa’s Regency Shopping Parade.

Formerly Leamington College for Boys, a local all-boys grammar, distinguished old boys include writer Lytton Strachey, founder of the Bloomsbury Group, the poet DJ Enfield, Sir Frank Whittle, inventor of the jet engine and international rugby player, Keith Savage.

This striking building has been extensively redeveloped and refurbished, as part of the Audley Binswood retirement village and features a grand dining room, open to the public, with chandeliers, stunning floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows, huge paintings – some on loan from neighbouring galleries – and plush turquoise velvet seating.

The Afternoon Tea experience

Treat yourself to a sublime afternoon of delicious English delicacies with one of Whittles Afternoon Teas, ranging from a traditional afternoon tea to a more contemporary themed tea or a festive twist with mine-pie, spiced scone and Christmas cocktail on arrival. An ideal treat for a birthday celebration, baby shower or catch up with family and friends.
