Mother’s Day live ‘LAMBCAM’, Moreton Morrell College
Moreton Morrell College’s popular Lambing weekend will be virtual again in 2021. Animal lovers will be able to discover all about the whole process of lambing at Nethermorton Farm on the college campus in the Warwickshire countryside. LAMBCAM will be back too, with a Facebook Live stream of lambs being born between 10am and 3pm on March 13 & 14. Plus, there’ll be a live Q&A with farmers Henry and Jack from 2pm to 3pm on Mother’s Day – Sun Mar 14. Both these live video streams will be featured on the college’s Facebook page.
If the weather’s not too blustery and wet this weekend, local families can take a rejuvenating spring stroll through the 120 acre grounds of Compton Verney this Mother’s Day with outdoor refreshments available from the Horse box. The Stratford-upon-Avon distillery has a number of virtual events for people to take part in, including: ‘Mother’s (Day) Ruin’ – a live Virtual Gin Tasting event on Sun Mar 14, 4pm-5pm, on Zoom. Groups of 8+ can book either a Virtual Home Gin Tasting or Virtual Cocktail Masterclass on a date/time to suit. Both interactive experiences include a one hour Zoom call with Home Gin Tasting/Cocktail Kits sent to the participants beforehand.
