Fireworks displays have got bigger, louder and much better organised. Cue a raft of brilliant local bonfire nights across Warwickshire. Ka-boom!




The Bell’s Bonfire and Fireworks Spectacular, Alderminster, Fri Nov 2

Enjoy BBQ Food, bar and music at this 17th Century coaching inn and gastro-pub from 6pm – late. The bonfire will be lit at 7.15pm and 12-minute firework display will start at 7.45pm

Bonfire Night, Dallas Burston Polo ClubStoneythorpe Estate, Southam, CV47 2DL, Fri Nov 2

Fireworks will be lighting up the sky above this award-winning polo club. There’s also family-friendly fairground rides, a bar and food vendors, 6 – 10pm.

Bishops Tachbrook Bonfire and Fireworks, nr Leamington Spa, Fri Nov 2

This popular free village bonfire takes place on the Meadow from 7pm.


Bonfire Night, The Red Lion, Hunningham, nr Leamington Spa, Fri Nov 2

There’s fireworks, BBQ, live bands, kids rides and an outside bar and kitchen at this rural riverside pub. As it’s a Friday Prosecco is £15 a bottle (normally £25), 8pm-11pm.

The annual Bonfire and Fireworks extravaganza, Alcester RFC, Fri No 2

Expect amusements, bar, stalls and a BBQ with gates opening at 6.30pm, bonfire at 7.30pm and fireworks at 8pm.


Bonfire and Firework Display, Alwyn Road Recreational Ground, Bilton, Rugby, Fri Nov 2

A community event organised by the 7th Bilton Scout group as a fundraiser and sponsored by independent primary, Crescent School.  Licensed bar, hot dogs, burgers, glow sticks and cold drinks. Bonfire at 7.30pm and fireworks at 8pm.

Annual bonfire and Fireworks Gala, Kenilworth Castle, Sat Nov 3

This event has grown into one of the biggest and best firework displays in the Midlands, attracting people from far and wide, as well as raising community funds for local good causes. Food and warm drinks available.

Bonfire Night with a Tudor Twist, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, Shottery, Stratford-upon-Avon, Sat Nov 3

Sit round the fire and listen to the Yarnsmith of Norwich telling Tudor tales, new for this year will be a spectacular fire-breathing show from 5.30pm-8pm.

Bonfire Night @Hilltop Farm, Fosse Way, Hunningham, nr Leamington Spa, Sat Nov 3

One of the biggest and most popular events of the year at this award-winning family-run farm shop, cafe and glamping site. Food, drinks, live music and firework display. Ticket only. The fireworks will start at 7pm,  gates will open for parking from 4pm.

Warwick Town Bonfire and Fireworks, Warwick Racecourse, Sat Nov 3

This event organised by Warwick Lions and Warwick Rotary has not one but two Fireworks Display’s  – a small one around 6pm, followed by the main display around 6.40pm! Parking is free, bars will be open and there will be a variety of hot food and entertainment. This year for the first time you can also book a Bonfire two-course buffet dinner with a view in the Kingmaker Suite (£25pp for adults and £19 for children).

Whinfield Rec Park, Clifton, Rugby, Sat Nov 3

The 67th fundraising firework spectacular organised in the town by Rugby Round Table includes live music, fun fair, food outlets, a shuttle bus, free parking and impressive firework display. Gates will open at 4.30pm, live music begins at 5pm and the fireworks finale begins at 6.15pm.

Tickets cost £5 in advance, £7 on the gate. Under 3s go free, rugbyfireworks


Snitterfield Bonfire, Snitterfield Sports Club, nr Stratford, Sat Nov 3

Expect music, a bar, food and sparklers. Doors open at 5.30pm. Entry: £4. £12 for a family of 4.


Birdingbury Village Bonfire and Fireworks, near Princethorpe, Rugby, Sat Nov 3

A family-orientated bonfire and fireworks display on the recreation field run by local villagers. Gates open at 5.30pm, bonfire lit at 6pm and fireworks at 6.30pm.

Tickets – £5 for show and food, and children under 11 free (but will need a ticket if they’d like food). 


The Nuneaton Civic Bonfire, Jubilee Sports Centre, & Bedworth Civic Bonfire, Miners Welfare Park, Sat Nov 

These two fundraising events run by Nuneaton Roundtable and Bedworth Lions will also have fairground rides and hot food stalls. Once again a strict ban on booze and sparklers is in place.  Gates in Nuneaton open at 5.30pm, the bonfire is lit at 6.45pm and fireworks at 7.15pm. In Bedworth gates open at 6pm, the bonfire is lit at 7pm and fireworks start at 7.15pm.

Haunted Halloween and Family Fireworks, Hogarths, Solihull, Sun Nov 4

Spend Sunday afternoon at Hogarths in the hotel and in the garden to enjoy an afternoon of storytelling, fancy dress and pumpkin carving with bonfire lit at 5pm. There’ll also be music, food and drink before a fireworks display hosted by Solihull Fireworks at 6.30pm.

Tickets: £5 per adult and £3 per child, hogarths


Harbury Bonfire and Fireworks, Sat Nov 3

A child-friendly event on the Village Hall playing fields run by GASS Guides and Scouts Support and All Saints Church. Doors open at 5.30pm via Village Hall entrance only, bonfire lit at 6pm and fireworks at 6.30pm.

Tickets include a hot-dog and Kit-Kat – £5 for adults, £3 for children aged 3 – 16 years and under 3’s free. Mulled wine & hot chocolate will be on sale.


Bonfire & Fireworks, Stratford-upon-Avon RFC,  Loxley Rd, Sun Nov 4

BBQ, sweets, mulled wine, games and other stalls, alongside the huge bonfire and sensational fireworks to music. Gates Open – 5pm, Bonfire Lit – 6pm, Fireworks – 7pm.
Adults – £5, Under 15’s – £3, Under-3’s –free

Bonfire and fireworks with entertainment, food and drink.

Old Laurentians RFC Bonfire Night and Fireworks Display, Lime Tree Avenue, Bilton, Rugby, Mon Nov 5

Gate opens at 6pm – 9pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the firework display will start at 7.30pm.

Tickets: Adults – £5, Under 16s – £2, families of 4 – £12. Ample free car parking on site – please avoid parking in Lime Tree Avenue and Alwyn Rd, olsrugby





Halloween Fireworks Festival, Ragley Hall, Alcester, Sat Oct 27

Get your Halloween and Bonfire night fix in one go! A night combining Halloween lights and frights. Expect fantastic firework displays by the organisers of the hugely popular Firework Champions, live music, a fun fair, a fang-tastic face painter and a fancy dress competition. Gates open from 4pm with a children’s fireworks display at 6.30pm; laser display at 7.30pm; fancy dress competition at 8pm and main fireworks display at 8.30pm.

Family Bonfire and Fireworks, Umberslade Farm Park, Sat Oct 27

A family-friendly event at this Warwickshire farm park with live music, Hogans Cider Bar and food stalls including Lashford Hot Dogs, Lazy Pig, Pig Roast & Paella, Hidden Gem Pizza, Persian Kitchen, donuts, waffles and hot chocolate. There’ll also be a bouncy castle, Bumpercarz and light-up toys. Gates open at 4.30pm with bonfire at 6pm and fireworks at 7.30pm.
