Ooh we&#8217;ve been waiting for this one! <a href="https://www.rsc.org.uk/a-midsummer-nights-dream/">A Midsummer Night&#8217;s Dream</a> is at the RSC from 30 Jan &#8211; 24 March. Matthew Baynton &#8211; hot from writing and starring in BBC&#8217;s Ghosts &#8211; will play Bottom, in the classic Shakespearian tale which sees real and fairy worlds collide. Elsewhere at the RSC, magical festive production&nbsp;<a href="https://www.rsc.org.uk/whats-on">Box of Delights</a> is still on until&nbsp;7 Jan (<a href="https://warks.muddystilettos.co.uk/spotlight/rsc-review-the-box-of-delights/">here&#8217;s</a> my review), as is musical, ensemble comedy <a href="https://www.rsc.org.uk/the-fair-maid-of-the-west/">The Fair Maid of the West</a> until 14 Jan.

All the stars are in the city until 28 Jan. Alison Hammond heads up the cast of Jack and the Beanstalk at the Hippodrome along with panto favourite Matt Slack and&nbsp;Eastenders’&nbsp;Samantha Womack. For more panto fun grab your glass slippers and head along to The Belgrade in Cov for <a href="https://www.belgrade.co.uk/events/cinderella/">Cinderella</a> until 13 Jan, also at The Belgrade there&#8217;s <a href="https://www.belgrade.co.uk/events/shrek-the-musical/">Shrek the Musical </a>from 30 Jan &#8211; 4 Feb.

Puppets, song and wild creativity – if you’re looking for a family show with a difference head to Rugby&#8217;s Macready Theatre for <a href="https://macreadytheatre.co.uk/whats-on/">The Man Who Wanted to be a Penguin</a> by 7 Jan. Elsewhere in the town <a href="https://www.rugbytheatre.co.uk/show/cinderella/">Cinderella</a> will be on at Rugby Theatre from 19-28 Jan.

For something a little less hands on check out the <a href="https://www.cobbsfarmshops.co.uk/stratford-events/pentire-tasting-day">drinks tasting day</a> on 26 Jan hosted by non-alcoholic drinks company Pentire. 



Head over to Charlecote Park where there&#8217;s some gorgeous walks, but also the chance to make a terracotta fox for pride of place on your mantlepiece. The <a href="https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/warwickshire/charlecote-park/events/e286d9cc-d88d-4fb7-9374-2f6d86222545">workshop</a> is being held on 17 Jan or try your hand at willow weaving and make a birds house on <a href="https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/warwickshire/charlecote-park/events/117ff775-e3e6-4872-9a3c-e26459a77fcb">18 Jan</a>.
