In Warwick, Heist House Studios and former Muddy Award-winning salon Nash White is holding a <a href="https://www.instagram.com/nashwhite">creatives market</a> on 29 Sept. It&#8217;ll be full of talented locals selling their wares, with music from a vinyl DJ and enjoying treats from the in-house coffee shop. I&#8217;ll be there with my charity <a href="https://www.lucashelpsdogs.com">Lucas Helps Dogs</a> too, so stop by and say hi. 



It&#8217;s ten years of FarGo Village this month (how quick has that gone!) and to celebrate there&#8217;s a <a href="https://www.fargovillage.co.uk/events/the-big-birthday-weekender-saturday">big birthday weekender</a> on 28&amp;29 Sept. It&#8217;s super family friendly and alongside awesome street food vendors and drinks you can expect live music, performances from the likes of Highly Sprung and workshops from Pop Bang Colour! <a href="https://warks.muddystilettos.co.uk/things-to-do/arts-culture-things-to-do/fargo-village-birthday/">Here&#8217;s just some of the reasons</a> we love FarGo.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-music">MUSIC</h2>



Some big names coming to Brum this month, with the highlight arguably being <a href="https://www.utilitaarenabham.co.uk/whats-on/janet-jackson-tickets/">Janet Jackson</a> at the Utilita Arena on 27 Sept, supported by Wyclif Jean. There&#8217;s also <a href="https://www.utilitaarenabham.co.uk/whats-on/texas-tickets/">Texas</a> on 13 Sept and <a href="https://www.utilitaarenabham.co.uk/whats-on/jonas-brothers-tickets/">Jonas Brothers</a> on 15 Sept. Keep your eyes out for Chrishell Stause when <a href="https://www.academymusicgroup.com/o2institutebirmingham/events/1468699/g-flip-tickets">G Flip</a> performs at the O2 Institute on 6 Sept and for more Aussie musicians check out <a href="https://www.academymusicgroup.com/o2institutebirmingham/events/1475376/ocean-alley-tickets">Ocean Alley</a> on 17 Sept. <a href="https://www.academymusicgroup.com/o2institutebirmingham/events/1484622/azealia-banks-tickets-0">Azealia Banks</a> will perform on 20 Sept.

Over in Cov at HMV Empire there&#8217;s <a href="https://www.hmvempire.com">Martin Kemp</a> on 14 Sept, an acoustic set by <a href="https://hmv.com/Live/London-Grammar">London Grammar</a> on 17 Sept and <a href="https://www.hmvempire.com/the-selecter">The Selecter</a> on 28 Sept. At Hagley Golf Club there&#8217;s a tribute to <a href="https://www.hagleygolfclub.co.uk/events/billy-joel-tribute-show/">Billy Joel</a> on 13 Sept, with ticket prices including curry and a drink. At <a href="https://www.coombeabbey.com/product/me-and-my-shadow/">Coombe Abbey</a> there&#8217;s also a tribute act but this time with Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble on 28 Sept. The night includes a three-course dinner, set in the most beautiful of surrounds. 



Some top jazz musicians will perform alongside FarGo’s house band on 5 Sept at the ever-popular <a href="https://www.fargovillage.co.uk/events/jazz-jam">jazz jam</a>. If you’d rather be on the stage than watching then you’re welcome to grab an instrument and join in. Yes, really. It is a jam after all! 



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-theatre">THEATRE</h2>



There&#8217;s heaps to choose from at the RSC this month, including <a href="https://www.rsc.org.uk/pericles">Pericles</a> until 21 Sept, <a href="https://www.rsc.org.uk/the-school-for-scandal">The School for Scandal</a> until 6 Sept and <a href="https://www.rsc.org.uk/the-merry-wives-of-windsor">The Merry Wives of Windsor</a> until 7 Sept, with girl power aplenty. <a href="https://warks.muddystilettos.co.uk/things-to-do/arts-culture-things-to-do/the-merry-wives-of-windsor-review/">Here’s</a> my review. Excitingly it&#8217;s also the first time in decades ballet has tiptoed on the Royal Shakespeare Theatre so you&#8217;ll catch us in the FROW when Northern Ballet performs <a href="https://www.rsc.org.uk/northern-ballet-romeo-and-juliet">Romeo &amp; Juliet</a> from 19-28 Sept.

If you&#8217;re anything like me and you still miss Buffy The Vampire Slayer (surely not just me?!) then you can get your fix with <a href="https://www.belgrade.co.uk/events/buffy-revamped/">Buffy Revamped</a> at Cov&#8217;s Belgrade Theatre on 4 Sept. It&#8217;s basically all 144 episodes as told by Spike. The show debuted at Edinburgh Fringe two years ago and has since gone on to have national sell-out tours and five star reviews aplenty. At the same venue there&#8217;s drama <a href="https://www.belgrade.co.uk/events/please-do-not-touch/">Please Do Not Touch</a> from 11-21 Sept, penned by Brummy poet laureate Casey Bailey. <a href="https://www.belgrade.co.uk/events/an-evening-without-kate-bush/">An Evening without Kate Bush</a> is also returning to the Belgrade following an awesome welcome last time, you can catch it on 28 Sept.



Muddy favourite Birmingham Royal Ballet will be at the Hippodrome from 25-28 Sept performing <a href="https://www.birminghamhippodrome.com/calendar/brb-la-fille-mal-gardee/">La Fille mal gardée</a>, which is a great one for all the family if you want to introduce the kids to ballet. Also at the Hippodrome there&#8217;s musical <a href="https://www.birminghamhippodrome.com/calendar/a-chorus-line/">A Chorus Line</a> from 10-14 Sept and <a href="https://www.birminghamhippodrome.com/calendar/hairspray-three/">Hairspray</a> from 16-21 Sept. More music over at the Alex where Dolly Parton musical <a href="https://www.atgtickets.com/shows/here-you-come-again-the-new-dolly-parton-musical/the-alexandra-theatre-birmingham/">Here You Come Again</a> is on from 10-14 Sept ahead of a stint in the West End and if foot-tapping Irish dancing is more your thing then there&#8217;s <a href="https://www.atgtickets.com/shows/lord-of-the-dance-a-lifetime-of-standing-ovations/the-alexandra-theatre-birmingham/">Lord of the Dance</a> from 30 Sept &#8211; 6 Oct. 



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-comedy-amp-talks">COMEDY &amp; TALKS</h2>



<a href="https://bmusic.co.uk/events/joe-lycetts-art-hole-live">Joe Lycett</a> is back in his hometown of Brum launching new book Art Hole at the Town Hall on 21 Sept. Sophia and Cinzia from hit podcast&nbsp;<a href="https://bmusic.co.uk/events/the-girls-bathroom-planet-tour">The Girls Bathroom</a> are at the Symphony Hall on 23 Sept where <a href="https://bmusic.co.uk/events/nish-kumar-nish-dont-kill-my-vibe">Nish Kumar</a> will take to the stage on 28 Sept, astronaut <a href="https://bmusic.co.uk/events/tim-peake-astronauts-the-quest-to-conquer-space">Tim Peake</a> on 4 Sept,

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-foodies">FOODIES</h2>



There&#8217;s food festivals aplenty this month, and you&#8217;ll find me stuffing my face at every one (in the interest of research, obviously). <a href="https://www.loveshipston.co.uk/listings/shipston-food-festival/">Shipston Food Fest</a> is on 8 Sept &#8211; make sure you check out the <a href="https://bower.house">Bower House</a> stall for a roast wrapped inside a big yorkie pud. <a href="https://leamingtonfoodfestival.co.uk">Leamington</a>&#8216;s offering takes place on 7&amp;8 Sept and is arguably one of the biggest events in the foodie calendar. <a href="https://solihullbid.co.uk/event/solihull-food-festival-2024/">Solihull</a>&#8216;s is on from 27-29 Sept, <a href="https://www.visitroyalsuttoncoldfield.co.uk/event/sutton-coldfield-food-festival/">Sutton Coldfield</a> on 14&amp;15 Sept, <a href="https://www.cjseventswarwickshire.co.uk/events/e09a43bd824d33fb/">Warwick&#8217;s Autumn Food Fest</a> on 29 Sept and <a href="https://stratforduponavonbid.co.uk/food-festival/">Stratford</a> on 21&amp;22 Sept. Crikey, that lot should fill you up. 



One of our favourite hotels Mallory Court is holding a <a href="https://www.mallory.co.uk/mallory-festival-and-family-day/">Festival and Family Day</a> on Sept 22 with free entry for children. There&#8217;s live music, archery and bee-keeping experiences, spa demos and mini treatment in the award-winning Elan Spa, and delicious refreshments from the bar and kitchen. Even better? Chance to snoop around the hotels new bedrooms which have just undergone a £1.5mil upgrade.

September means the end of Summer *sob* so we&#8217;ll be going out in style enjoying the Sunset Supper at <a href="https://www.thewhitelionradfordsemele.co.uk">The White Lion</a> in Radford Semele. It has a gorgeous pub garden so on 21 Sept pull up a pew under the pergola, make the last of the balmy evenings and take a sneak peek at the new autumn menu. <a href="https://warks.muddystilettos.co.uk/eat-out/review-the-white-lion-radford-semele/">Here&#8217;s</a> my review if you want the full lowdown. 



Muddy Award-winning Best Destination Pub <a href="https://www.brunningandprice.co.uk/arrowmill/upcoming/champagne-gourmet-dinner-6751384709595136/">Arrow Mill</a> is holding a champagne gourmet dinner on 5 Sept with Laurent Perrier &#8211; fancy! It&#8217;s a six course tasting menu accompanied by six different champagnes. Cheers to that. For more drinks then there&#8217;s a <a href="https://www.thebullinclifton.co.uk">fine wine tasting</a> of The Americas with each glass served with a small plate. It&#8217;s at The Bull in Clifton-on-Dunsmore on 19 Sept. If you like your food a little more rustic then check out the <a href="https://www.coombeabbey.com/product/mediaeval-banquet-2/">medieval banquet</a> at Coombe Abbey on 14 Sept. 



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-outdoors">OUTDOORS</h2>



Two words &#8211; <a href="https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/goat-yoga-tickets-941629648627?fbclid=IwY2xjawE9EdVleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHa5rGhTCD6FYy-MFji0DU_V1cyeYFEQ7qhZk5FX5AlqJxbAapG6wersF9w_aem_qTwTSNfEqhHPaNXanu02Zw">goat yoga</a>. Yes it&#8217;s a thing and yes it&#8217;s here. There&#8217;s sessions on 5, 12 and 15 Sept just outside Warwick. Everyone from beginners to yoga aficionados and whole families are welcome to take part in sessions, while three pygmy goats are running around &#8211; what could go wrong!



Over at <a href="https://www.hagleypark.co.uk/events/hagley-fiesta-at-the-visitor-centre/">Hagley Park</a> there&#8217;s heaps to do on 7 Sept when it has a Fiesta in the Visitor Centre. Think live music, award-winning street food, , ales, cocktails and kids entertainment. It&#8217;s free entry and parking too, bonus! 



If you have a super friendly pooch then head along to Arrow Mill in Alcester for the <a href="https://www.brunningandprice.co.uk/arrowmill/upcoming/autumn-dog-walk-6079906267758592/">group dog walk</a> on 1 Sept. It&#8217;s about an hour long and you get back in time for Sunday lunch.
