<p>Stroll into the pretty village centre where you&#8217;ll find everything you need and then some! For womenswear your first stop needs to be Muddy Award-winning boutique <a href="https://www.thedecorium.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Decorium</a>, there&#8217;s suit hire for men at <a href="https://www.peterposh.co.uk">Peter Pos</a>h and for trinkets and gifts visit <a href="https://www.hugsandkissesgifts.co.uk">Hugs &amp; Kisses</a>. For bigger stores then you&#8217;re just ten minutes drive from Wolverhampton city centre.</p>

<p>There&#8217;s a local GP on your doorstep and several pharmacies if you&#8217;re feeling under the weather. The village is also home to wellness centre <a href="https://www.littleearthcentre.com">Little Earth</a> offering yoga, holistic therapies and retreats and the High Street has more beauty salons than you can wave a perfectly-manicured hand at. There&#8217;s a running club and equestrian centre, and the prestigious Wolverhampton Golf Club is right on your doorstep. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-community">COMMUNITY</h2>



<p>On a warm day you&#8217;ll find residents young and old cooling off in <a href="https://www.wolverhampton.gov.uk/visiting/parks-green-spaces-and-nature-reserves">Tettenhall Pool</a>, on the village green. There&#8217;s groups no matter what your hobbies – from creative writing to bee keeping and tai chi. There&#8217;s an annual summer fete, regular food and drink festivals. On bonfire night independent school Tettenhall College is the place to go for an awesome display for locals, students, families and alumni, the school also puts on regular garden parties in its impressive grounds. </p>

<p>For walks and biking trails head to Tettenhall Wood or Smestow Valley Nature Reserve. You&#8217;re not far from National Trust&#8217;s <a href="https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/birmingham-west-midlands/wightwick-manor-and-gardens">Wightwick Manor</a> brimming with pretty William Morris interiors and for some more inspo head to <a href="https://www.wolverhamptonart.org.uk/about-bantock-house/">Bantock House</a>, which reflects the arts and crafts movement. Golf lovers are spoilt for choice, for more adrenaline fuelled fun check out <a href="https://www.wolfmountainactivitycentre.co.uk">Wolf Mountain</a> for indoor climbing and caving. If you&#8217;d rather be a spectator there&#8217;s Wolverhampton Wanderers ground <a href="https://events.wolves.co.uk">Molineux Stadium</a> nearby, and <a href="https://www.wolverhampton-racecourse.co.uk">Wolverhampton Racecourse</a>.</p>

<p>You&#8217;re not too far from <a href="https://www.grandtheatre.co.uk">Wolverhampton Grand</a>, where there&#8217;s some great theatre and annual panto. The music scene is pretty outstanding here too with venues like the <a href="https://www.thehallswolverhampton.co.uk/civic-hall/">Civic Hall</a> and <a href="https://www.thehallswolverhampton.co.uk/wulfrun-hall/">Wulfrun Hall</a>. There&#8217;s also <a href="https://www.stmichaelscofeprimary.co.uk">St Michael’s Church of England Aided Primary School</a> and <a href="https://www.christchurchfederation.co.uk">Christ Church (C of E) Infant and Nursery School</a> which were both rated Outstanding. Secondary grammar school <a href="https://wghsv1.wixsite.com/website-7">Wolverhampton Girls’ High School</a> is nearby as is <a href="https://www.pertonmiddle.com">Perton Middle School</a>.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-best-nbsp-kept-nbsp-secret">BEST&nbsp;KEPT&nbsp;SECRET</h2>



<p>It may seem like a quiet, quaint little village, but The Battle of Tettenhall was held here in 910 and saw the allied forces of Mercia and Wessex defeat an army of Northumbrian Vikings. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-commute">COMMUTE</h2>



<p>The area is well connected by bus to Wolverhampton city centre and train stations and you can catch a train to London in around two hours. Birmingham and Telford are within a 30 – 45 min drive.</p>
