<p>Perch on the outdoor terrace overlooking the River Leam at this gorgeous joint which recently won the Muddy Award for Best Bar. It&#8217;s got a champagne afternoon tea option, but make sure you take a look at the cocktail menu too, it&#8217;s serving up some of the best around. If you&#8217;re the designated driver then fear not, there&#8217;s nine different teas to try.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><a href="https://www.cobbsfarmshops.co.uk/stratford-menus">Cobbs Farm Shop</a>, Stratford-upon-Avon</h2>



<p>There&#8217;s a lovely, dog-friendly seating area outside the farm shop where you can while away a few hours tucking into rustic homemade quiches and sausage rolls, finger sandwiches, and delicious cakes. When you&#8217;re finished then stock up on lovely local goodies from the farm shop.</p>

<p>Pull up a pew next to the lake and watch the lily pads bobbing around as you tuck into a afternoon tea with a glass of English sparkling wine Nyetimber. There&#8217;s an alternative option too with local beers and savoury snacks like mini cheese burger, scotch egg and hand cut chips.</p>

<p>Afternoon tea in the castle grounds? Why yes <em>please</em>. This gorgeous hotel just out of Stratford serves up delicious afternoon teas in one of its comfy lounges or on the outdoor terrace. There&#8217;s a choice of eight teas from across the world, the obligatory sarnies and yummy cakes. </p>

<p>This rural hotel just a stone&#8217;s throw from the town centre claims it has the best afternoon tea in Leam &#8211; and who am I to disagree? Take your freshly baked scones, delicate sandwiches, homemade cakes and speciality teas in dinky china cups out on the terrace overlooking the hotel’s gardens or choose your own spot with a picnic afternoon tea. If you fancy making a night of it the hotel&#8217;s 19 bedrooms have just undergone a whopping £1.5million revamp and are looking swisher than ever. </p>

<p>If you&#8217;re more into samosas than cucumber sandwiches check out this Asian High Tea complete with chicken tikka skewers, pakoras, bhajis, homemade pastries and scones. For traditionalists there&#8217;s your usual afternoon tea, and champagne options available too. Enjoy in the pub&#8217;s lush, boho garden which is one of our favourite around.</p>

<p>At this family-owned farm just outside pretty Leamington Spa you can enjoy views for miles around while tucking into the finest local produce. There&#8217;s meat or veggie afternoon tea options and you can add a glass of fizz on too. If you&#8217;re taking the kids along then there&#8217;s a small option for them and acres of land for them to run wild in. </p>

<p>Ok so not quite outside, but Coombe&#8217;s garden room restaurant has floor to ceiling windows which make you feel like you could be in the great outdoors, and once you&#8217;ve finished scoffing your treats head out on a walk around the 500 acres of woodland. There&#8217;s three different afternoon teas to choose from, and of course, an option with fizz. What&#8217;s afternoon tea without it?</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><a href="https://www.sugarandspicebys.co.uk/afternoontearoom">Sugar &amp; Spice</a>, FarGo Village, Coventry</h2>



<p>Muddy favourite <a href="https://www.fargovillage.co.uk">FarGo Village</a> has heaps of lovely shops and eateries, including Sugar &amp; Spice. It&#8217;s serving up a selection of afternoon teas from Bridgerton-themed to a High Chai option. Grab a table outside to watch the world go by and then have a wander around the quirky stores afterwards.</p>

<p>This all-singing all-dancing farm shop nestled between Birmingham and Warwickshire has heaps to do including a great shop to explore and a pretty sunflower field. Once you&#8217;ve finished stocking up on treats in the shop head over to the restaurant and order their afternoon tea. There&#8217;s tables outside or you can grab one to go and enjoy it in the great outdoors.</p>

<p>Day trip to Stratford long overdue? Head to The Arden to enjoy dainty treats on the all-weather terrace overlooking the buzzy RSC and the River Avon. If it&#8217;s chilly (during a British summer &#8211; as if!) there&#8217;s patio heaters to put on. </p>

<p>Chrissie makes some of the best cakes in the biz (including our Muddy Awards cakes, she&#8217;s that bloody good!) But she also does a divine afternoon tea to take away. Grab your box of homemade goodies and enjoy them in the comfort of your garden or set up a romantic picnic!</p>
