We stopped on the way home up north, fantastic service, pleasant staff and delicious food.. definitely recommend

The Elm is our local pub, just down the road from our home. We eat there several times a month, and thank goodness for it. I don&#8217;t know what we&#8217;d do without it. 
It manages to combine a really friendly local-pub ambience (unusual in Stratford upon Avon where pubs are often thronged with tourists) with quality food and a concern for clients&#8217; interests and comfort. In colder months it&#8217;s a wonderfully cosy and convivial place to spend time, log fires helping with that. We&#8217;ve spent many a Sunday afternoon there with our dogs (it&#8217;s dog-friendly in the bar eating area) reading the newspapers or dropped in for lunch on our way to the Picturehouse cinema nearby. In summer the cool courtyard garden is beautiful, enclosed by this old building and its vegetation, very much part of the pub itself. 
The menu is varied with a specials board as well and vegetarian options. One of their good ideas was the introduction of the 3-tapas option which allows you to share interesting little dishes, mix-and-match a bit, if you don&#8217;t feel like a full meal. There&#8217;s a good choice of beers and lagers, wines and my favourite, prosecco.
The staff are enormously friendly and helpful, both behind the bar and when waiting on tables, or just chatting with customers.

We have just celebrated a family 80th birthday at One Elm and couldnt fault it! 
The customer service and attention to detail was excellent, food truely delicious and the atmosphere and music was fantastic . 
We had a really great evening and all generations from young to old alike were made to feel special. 
The whole family had a great time including the dog and we would throughly recomend it.
