Designer water bottles

Water bottles are such a faff to carry around, aren't they? But Chanel are on hand with this chic solution. Can you guess how much it costs though?

Have you just found £4,400 in loose change down the back of the sofa? How very convenient because this water bottle holder from Chanel costs exactly that! In the brand’s distinctive classic quilted lambskin with the interlocking C logo and a chain handle, it comes with the gold bottle (imagine having to fork out more for that) and is apparently flying off the shelves so if you’re going to treat yourself to the world’s most ridiculous accessory, you better get in there quickly.

In all seriousness, you can see where they were going with this – now we all lug around massive water bottles all day (woe betide if you’re caught with a plastic bottle of mineral water, you planet murderer) we do need somewhere to stow them and a standard size handbag tends to be too small. Besides, that’s already bursting at the seams with your reusable coffee cup.

If the Chanel one is a tad out of your price range, this rainbow-striped leather one from Kurt Geiger (£89) is fun, and also comes in black – if you squint it could almost be the designer one. Or how about this tan leather Smythson delight? Yeah, yeah, it’s £385 but that’s a total bargain compared to the Chanel one, right? Finally, this practical neoprene number from Wommty is just £7.99 – so you can buy 550 of them with that money from down the back of the sofa. Happy hydrating, everyone.
