These boots were made for walking…
Splash about as much as you like. These boho cowboy boots are actually wellies - and founded by sisters, one of whom lives in Warwickshire. Yee-haw!
No need to trash your fave leather or suede boots to look chic when you’re hanging out at muddy festivals, cheering on the kids (or OH) from the sidelines, walking the dog, riding your horse, or just milling around town on a rainy day: pull on a pair of Talolo Boots, the cowboy boot that’s actually a wellie.
Sisters Lucy (based in Dorset) and Phillipa (up in Warwickshire) have worked together for over 20 years organising events around the world. Looking for something to wear when they met clients – sometimes in wild and wacky locations – they came up with the idea of Talolo Boots.
Essentially, the boots combine the style and comfort of a cowboy boot with all the practicality of a wellington.
The boots come in two different styles: ankle and and calf high and with a soft gel reinforced 3cm Western heel. Lined with cotton and cut close to the leg, they’re super comfy to wear and – unlike bog standard wellies – actually flattering. They look great with dresses, skirts, jeans or shorts.
Choose from snakeskin and leopard print, mock croc, floral, zingy Aztec funk and vintage paisley.
Splash about as much as you like, you won’t spring a leak. Made from sustainably sourced. 100% biodegradable rubber, the boots are totally waterproof.
At £59, they’re way cheaper than a pair of Hunter’s, too.
