<p>We&#8217;re spoilt for choice with gorgeous places for a fancy afternoon tea on our patch. Why not book in for ‘the best Afternoon Tea in Warwickshire’ at <a href="https://www.mallory.co.uk/event/mothers-day-afternoon-tea">Mallory Court</a> in Leamington, served in the hotel’s award-winning Dining Room, or if you fancy tea with a twist head to <a href="http://www.thegeorgeatkilsby.co.uk">The George in Kilsby</a> for the Asian High Tea. In Stretton -under-Fosse local cafe <a href="https://www.maltkilnfarmshop.co.uk/rebeccas-kitchen/">Rebecca&#8217;s Kitchen</a> at Malt Kiln Farm Shop is offering afternoon tea and Sunday roasts &#8211; so everyone&#8217;s happy or closer to Stratford, check out gorgeous <a href="https://www.comptonverney.org.uk/event/mothers-day-afternoon-tea/">Compton Verney</a> where food is served in its beautiful Adam Hall (there&#8217;s a dedicated children&#8217;s menu too if you have little ones). f you&#8217;re Cov based head to <a href="https://www.coombeabbey.com/menus/">Coombe Abbey</a> for a sparkling afternoon tea. For scones with a view you can&#8217;t beat <a href="https://www.moathouse.co.uk/staffordshire-restaurant/mothers-day">The Moat House</a> at Acton Trussell in the Orangery overlooking the Staffordshire canal. </p>

<p>In the West Mids check out <a href="https://www.browns-restaurants.co.uk/restaurants/eastandwestmidlands/birmingham/afternoonteamenu">Browns</a> in Birmingham &#8211; it&#8217;s right by the Bullring (and just five minutes from the train station) &#8211; would be rude not to when it comes with a glass of Moet or a G&amp;T. Alternatively we love Sky by the Water which has gorgeous views across the lake and a spa onsite too (why not really spoil mum with the <a href="https://www.resortsworldbirmingham.co.uk/sky-by-the-water-afternoon-tea">Afternoon Tea Spa Experience</a>).</p>

<p>What says I love and appreciate you more than cooking a delicious meal? Well if you&#8217;re like me and that would probably end in food poisoning, luckily we have a whole host of awesome places who will take the stress off your hands. We love the the RSC&#8217;s <a href="https://www.rsc.org.uk/rooftop-restaurant/special-events/mother's-day-menu">Rooftop Terrace</a> with gorgeous views over Stratford-upon Avon, there’s a<strong>&nbsp;</strong>special two and three course Mother’s Day Sunday lunch including Prosecco on arrival, beef sirloin, free-range pork loin, seafood chowder and two vegan options.&nbsp;Also in the town 2 AA Rosette-winning <a href="http://www.theardenhotelstratford.com/event/mothering-sunday-dining-celebration">The Arden Hotel </a>which is offering a Sunday Lunch with a special gift for mums on the day.&nbsp;It&#8217;s a gorge hotel if you fancy making a night of it (check out our review <a href="https://warks.muddystilettos.co.uk/travel/review-the-arden-hotel-stratford-upon-avon/">here</a>). </p>

<p>There&#8217;s the <a href="https://fuzzyduckarmscote.com">Fuzzy Duck</a> at Armscote too which has a stand-out Sunday lunch menu sure to impress. Make sure you treat mum to a couple of their delicious cocktails too. Just down the road there&#8217;s Muddy fave the <a href="https://www.the-chequers-ettington.co.uk">Chequers Inn</a> at Ettington with cosy vibe, delicious lunch menu and wine list to boot. In Hunningham check out <a href="https://redlionhunningham.co.uk">The Red Lion</a> which has a menu catering to all tastes and some mouth-watering roasts (we love the British Striploin). If the sun&#8217;s out make sure you grab a glass of something fizzy and head outside afterwards to take in those gorgeous countryside views. Just up the road there&#8217;s Muddy Award-winning farm shop and cafe <a href="https://www.hilltopfarmshop.com/mothers-day-lunch/">Hilltop Farm Shop</a> serving up a Mother&#8217;s Day lunch complete with home-produced meats and local produce.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.cockinnwishaw.co.uk/mothers-day">The Cock at Wishaw</a> has a lovely Mother&#8217;s Day menu and has the perfect mix of great food and ambiance. There’s a lovely dining area but also some snug areas to chill out and catch up over a bottle (or two) after lunch. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Takeaway Treats</h2>



<p>Muddy favourite <a href="http://www.facebook.com/chrissiescatering1">Chrissie&#8217;s Catering</a> is creating afternoon tea and grazing boxes if your mum&#8217;s idea of a good day is staying in her jim jams being waited on hand and foot. If you&#8217;re venturing out then you don&#8217;t want to miss the chocolate festival at <a href="https://www.fargovillage.co.uk">FarGo Village</a> (yes, it&#8217;s a thing!) complete with acoustic live music and afternoon tea from Sugar &amp; Spice &#8211; make sure you grab a cinnamon bun to take away too, they&#8217;re divine. </p>
